Building Wealth Through Patience

Since early 2019, we've been helping Canadian investors understand that the best returns come from thinking in years, not quarters. Our approach isn't flashy—but it works.

How We Started

Back in 2019, our founder Callum Thorne was frustrated. He'd spent years watching investors chase quick wins, only to watch their portfolios crater during downturns. The problem wasn't that people didn't want long-term growth—it's that nobody was teaching them how to actually wait through the uncomfortable parts.

So we built Priston Max around a simple idea: what if we showed people the real data behind patient investing? Not just theory—actual portfolios, actual timelines, actual results from riding out market cycles.

We started with workshops in Vancouver. Just twelve people in a community center, learning why a ten-year horizon changes everything. By 2021, we'd helped over 300 investors stick with their strategies through volatile markets. That's when we knew this approach mattered.

Our Growth Journey

We didn't rush. And that's kind of the point of what we teach.

2019

Foundation Year

Launched with twelve investors in Richmond. Focused on building core curriculum around market psychology and why patience pays off when everyone else panics.

2021

Market Volatility Test

COVID crash gave us a chance to prove our methods. Clients who stayed the course saw their portfolios recover and grow. We documented everything to help future investors understand real market cycles.

2023

Expansion Across BC

Opened programs in three new cities. Started offering specialized content for different investor stages—from complete beginners to those managing six-figure portfolios.

2025

Looking Ahead

We're working on new material that digs into behavioral finance—understanding why we make emotional money decisions and how to build better habits. Programs start September 2025.

What Drives Us Forward

Education Over Sales

We don't sell investment products. We teach people how to think about money over time. Big difference. Our success comes from helping investors make better decisions on their own.

Real Market Experience

Every case study we use comes from actual portfolios and real market conditions. We show the good years and the rough ones—because understanding both is what builds confidence.

Long-Term Thinking

Our shortest program runs six months. Not because we're slow, but because changing your relationship with money takes time. We're not interested in quick fixes.

Community Support

Investing can feel isolating, especially during downturns. Our members connect regularly to share progress, ask questions, and remind each other why patience matters when markets get noisy.
